DCS Programs

DCS has undertaken a multipronged approach to combating the threat posed by shale gas drilling: advocacy, litigation, zoning assistance, technical assistance and registering health impacts. To learn more, click on the links below. DCS is also engaged with key regulatory agencies: the Delaware River Basin Commission, the federal Environmental Protection Agency and state environmental departments in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. DCS has focused primarily on the Delaware River Basin, a water-source for 15.6 million people, but increasingly has expanded its efforts across the Marcellus region.
