UPDATE: These Webinars, by Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Berks Gas Truth, Are Now Available:

The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) has proposed a ban on fracking in the Delaware River Basin. This is great news, and a tribute to all who have worked so hard for 10 years to achieve this milestone. This fight is not over yet, however. A small group of (mostly) large landowners, backed by the oil and gas industry, can be expected to fight the ban tooth and nail. Those of us who support the ban cannot afford to relax now, when we are so close to a permanent victory.

Protect the beauty of the Delaware River Valley by supporting the ban on fracking

HELP: Register to Attend a DRBC Hearing

You can show your support for the ban by registering for one of the DRBC public hearings (they’re free). Space is limited, so register now. HELP: Take a Brief DCS Property Survey

DCS has done important original research on such things as methane emissions, the health impacts of fracking and frack lease patterns in Damascus Township, PA. We are currently working on a survey of support for the DRBC ban among landowners in the following counties: Wayne, PA, Pike, PA, Sullivan, NY and Delaware, NY (Note: our analysis will be similar to the Damascus Township study and will not publish any individual information). We believe that the majority of landowners in these counties support a ban on fracking and that these landowners constitute the majority of the tax base. Take the property survey and help us prove that we are the majority! Even if you do not live in one of these counties, take the survey to show your support for a ban in the Basin.
